FAQs

At Fannin Tree Farm, we pride ourselves on offering the area’s largest selection of trees native to North Texas. While we are more than happy to accept tree orders over the phone, a majority of our customers prefer to shop for their trees in person, which is honestly the best way to do it.

Once you step onto our lot, you can expect to be greeted by a knowledgeable Fannin representative who will be happy to give you a tour of our 20-acre sales lot in one of our get-around carts. With Fannin, you get the opportunity to hand-select your trees, which is a luxury other tree farms typically do not offer.

Don’t know what tree or group of trees is right for you? No problem. Your Fannin representative and tour guide will be happy to assist you during the selection process to help you find the perfect trees for your landscape.

We also offer free, in-depth consultations that are designed to help us better understand your specific landscape desires. We recommend you bring pictures of the area where you are thinking about installing trees. This will give our experts a good understanding of your location, your landscape and the space you have available for a new tree.

Once you have chosen the perfect trees for your property, we will hard-tag your trees with a corresponding warranty number to ensure the trees installed at your home are the ones you personally selected. We will then ask you to fill out some paperwork and process payment. Our dispatch operator will be in touch to schedule the installation date, and your sales representative will discuss the process of transferring your trees from our lot to your yard.

At Fannin Tree Farm, you will find the largest selection of trees in the Metroplex, as well as a knowledgeable team that is ready and willing to help you select your tree and in any other way they can. Our experienced installation team is critical to the livability and continued healthy growth of your trees. Each Fannin installation crew averages 25 to 30 years of experience in planting trees. Further, any tree purchased from and installed by Fannin Tree Farm comes complete with the one-year Fannin Guarantee that starts the day the tree is installed.

It depends on the time of year you are planting a tree. Our lead times generally start from 2 to 3 weeks and in peek season can go to 4 to 6 weeks. However, this is hard to determine until you come in to purchase a tree.

You can have confidence that your selected tree will be installed correctly by one of our professionally trained crews. Each crew is led by a supervisor that has over 20 years experience installing trees. The crew not only will take the utmost care of your tree install, but of your yard as well. A few days prior to installation you will receive a call from our dispatcher to confirm our arrival. It is not necessary for you to be present at the job site; your tree is planted in the same location where you place the colored flags representing your tree purchase.

Unlike most of the local tree farms, Fannin has a team of tree specialists that can help with your tree selection. Whether you are looking to create shade, provide privacy, enhance your landscape or increase your property value, Fannin Tree Farm will have the trees for you.

The price of a Fannin tree includes the tree, installation of the tree including staking (if necessary), mulching, clean up around the tree and 1 year warranty.

*Extra costs include but are not limited to freight, point of access, hand digging / dolly, tree removal and stump grinding and additional equipment.
