What to Expect on Your First Visit
At Fannin Tree Farm, we pride ourselves on offering the area’s largest selection of trees native to North Texas. While we are more than happy to accept tree orders over the phone, a majority of our customers prefer to shop for their trees in person, which is honestly the best way to do it.
Visiting The Tree Farm
Once you step onto our lot, you can expect to be greeted by a knowledgeable Fannin representative who will be happy to give you a tour of our 20-acre sales lot in one of our get-around carts. With Fannin, you get the opportunity to hand-select your trees, which is a luxury other tree farms typically do not offer.
Don’t know what tree or group of trees is right for you? No problem. Your Fannin representative and tour guide will be happy to assist you during the selection process to help you find the perfect trees for your landscape.
We also offer free, in-depth consultations that are designed to help us better understand your specific landscape desires. We recommend you bring pictures of the area where you are thinking about installing trees. This will give our experts a good understanding of your location, your landscape and the space you have available for a new tree.
Installation and Tree Care
Once you have chosen the perfect trees for your property, we will hard-tag your trees with a corresponding warranty number to ensure the trees installed at your home are the ones you personally selected. We never ask our customers to go out and tag their own trees. We will then ask you to fill out some paperwork and process payment.
Your sales representative will discuss the process of transferring your trees from our lot to your yard and go over all the post care instructions, along with some information on the line locates we will order for public utilities.
Our dispatch operator will be in touch to schedule the installation date a few days prior to your install. When the time comes to have your trees installed, 811 will come out to your property and mark all your public utilities lines. The customer is responsible for marking private lines.
By the time we are finished, you will have a new and improved landscape to enjoy for years to come.
If you have any questions or concerns at any point before, during or after your trees are installed, we are more than happy to provide clarification.
